Competency: through this course we aim to gain new skills therefore we set this goal;

Good and clear communication: as team is important to have a clear and good communication specially when we do not agree or when we face issues therefore, we want to keep an open communication between us. This goal helps us to build trust, maintain a good team atmosphere and learn to commit and disagree as well as to express our ideas or concerns in an appropriate manner knowing conflict and criticism are part of teamwork;
Support and motivate one another: as team we want to support each other when facing problems, when acquiring new skills;
Ownership: as individuals we act on behalf of the entire team and we are committed to stablished shared rules.
5. How are you going to evaluate your progress towards your goals?
We will use an evaluation list and we will evaluate goals every two weeks as well depending on the project we get we might need add more goals or change the timing of the evaluation.
6. Teamwork division -how did you agree to share responsibilities and roles?
We do not know yet our project therefore, once the project is handed over, we will discuss about this.
7. How you are going to communicate, what tools you will use?
We will communicate face to face in our meetings, class workshop as well as in our WhatsApp group and through emails.
8. How you are going to make team decisions and solve conflicts?
Our team is based on the principle commit and disagree therefore; we decide what is best for the common good of the team. In case of conflicts, we will confront the issue, understand the root cause and comprise this through open communication.
9. Teamwork workflow -How did you agree to make your teamwork better?
For team workflow we can use some of the available tools such as Trello but, as mentioned earlier we do not have a project yet therefore, is difficult for the team decide what it is best at this stage.
10. How will you increase productivity and effectiveness of your team?
We have already set goals for this purpose. In addition, we will do short stand up meetings, tasks will have an owner and deadline and they will be part of different milestones we set for the project. As we do not have a project, we cannot go more into details about how to be efficient and productive.
11. Team contribution –How did you agree to evaluate and report individual contribution of team members.
Once we will know what our project is about, we will define our respective tasks. These tasks will be listed as mentioned previously in point 10 and the evaluation will be completed, partially completed or incomplete. The final evaluation will be a list of tasks each team member completed for the projects. Those not completed will include the reason why there were not completed and to who were re-assigned and why.
12. Feedback for 1stworkshop –briefly summarize what have you learned, what team activities you liked/disliked (and why)
The workshop can be very useful for those in teams with new people while for those who already know each other might result redundant. In terms of goal setting, it is beneficial for the team nevertheless, without having a predefined project the goal setting is not complete. This results in using extra work and time when the projects will be handed over; certain goals might need to re-discussed, added or the team might face some disruption given the nature of the project assigned specially if the project is not what the team selected or why the team or the students decided to join the course. In conclusion, the workshop does not represent the reality in a business environment when a project is assigned, and a team needs to be formed.
